5. OAI.IO is the Open Audit Initiative, the first open block-chain project from Hub Culture. Block chains are decentralized
ledgers first made popular by the Bitcoin protocol, and are the base transaction system for thousands of today’s
decentralized currencies. As block-chain technologies evolve, they are opening opportunities to layer additional data into
decentralised ledgers that can not be corrupted or altered by any actor or manager in the network. This capability makes the
block-chain a great potential resource for open-source, real-time audits.
Hub Culture is building a block-chain technology to enable rolling real time audits for data and transactions, as a kind of
digital, open receipt. A major source of initial data to the OAI will be Ven digital currency transactions running through the
Hub Culture network. To begin, a blog function, unified look/logo and color scheme will present the OAI to the public. To
fund development, Hub Culture has prepared a partnership programme for up to 3 partners, who will receive technical
integration for publishing data to the OAI as it develops over time.
Responsive, mobile first format featuring a data submission interfaces, a public cryptographic feed of transactions, and
verifiable transaction ledgers with privacy enabled. Unlike crypto-currencies that use the block-chain to enable transactions,
the function of the OAI is only to record the existence of transactions and activities – creating a receipt ledger of completed
actions.
Programme Offer Benefits: €50,000.00
Three project partners are offered a one year programme with branding on system functions, dedicated info-page,
1024x1024 partner box rotation, 100 hours custom development programming, a vertical business model report and general
consultation.
In addition to branding, social media accounts and content creation will position the partners as research and development
partners for the OAI, giving them a public, high profile and safe PR opportunity around block-chain tech.
Costs will be allocated to programming development and technology creation as part of the programme with further options
for the programme partners to access up to 5 restful APIs for their own development (including processes for posting to the
OAI) as soon as they are available.
