Hub Culture Emerald City is a new virtualization and sustainability project linking several technologies into a combined service. Emerald City provides an interactive virtual meeting and event space for everyone and includes layers of access capability ranging from audio and video conferencing through web based environments to deeply immersive vrtual reality settngs.  It also ties ot the real world, with an Amazon rainforest restoration component and future phases of physical development all part of the experience.

In virtual reality, Emerald City is designed to offer Hub Culture members, participation partners and city visitors a new type of virtual experience by aggregating many participants into a planned community setting. A series of arching boulevards will host partner Pavilions, each uniquely designed for interactive participation. Meetings, events and cultural experiences tied to the physical world can be extended to this virtual setitng, and new types of experiences can enhance a session, whether for a conference style event, an AGM or board meetings, or small group or bilateral meetings within companies.

Emerald City is also set to be optimized for participation by visitors who lack virtual realiity equipment, enabling connected participation via more basic technologies but still oriented around the geography of the city itself.  Beyond the master plan of Emerald City neighborhoods are Partner Pavilions, which will enable dedicated activities for participants.

As Emerald City rolls out neighborhoods in 2020 and 2021, the project will sync with parallel real world Hub Culture Pavilion projects, providing a virtualization angle to initiatives where Hub Culture typically would plan to be physically present.

Access to Hub Culture Emerald City will be available to global citizens holding HubID identity certifications, and includes a range of services related to Ven digital currency payments, Propel liquid governance, AGREE contracting and engagements, and more.

In 2020 Hub Culture Emerald City also enters phased development in the physical world:

Phase 1: Virtual Reality City with Partner VR Pavilions, development of a fundraising campaign to purchase 10,000 hectares of destroyed rainforest land, with a 1 million trees replanting campaign to begin restoring the land.

Phase 2: The Emerald City begins master development with a carbon positive city, built in harmony with deep nature. Anchored by a medical and wellness facility focused on mental health, indigenous healing techniques and research into Amazonian plants and plant therapies.

Phase 3: Partner Pavilions begin to appear on one hectare plots, in a variety of live/work/research configurations. Development of public infrastructure based on innovation and uncompromising sustainability.

Phase 4: Rolling out additional Emerald Cities in other locations as a model for resilience and education.
